Founded in 2023, Growing Empowered Minds in Spanish, grew from seeing the struggle Black children are facing learning and experiencing language in the K-12 systems while learning another language.  Black children with lack of language ability at home suffer from being immersed.  GEMS hopes to establish immersion through travel and continued development of language support through High School and college.
