"My experience with this program has been one of the most inspiring things I’ve ever been apart of. From the fundraising process to finally getting to go on the trip to Costa Rica! In Costa Rica I got to expand my knowledge on local history, try new foods, new activities  and most importantly practicing my Spanish everyday while simultaneously getting high school credits. Being able to use school lessons and translating them into a foreign place for me, I got to navigate around with ease and I could show off my skills as an “American”. I look forward to all this program has to come and wherever in the world we go to next!"

"I loved the animals, not the tarantula. I love tropical places the sun, the sunsets.  It gave me all of this.  I love being in a new place.  I feel like I got I got my Spanish expanded a little bit and it wasn’t forced like in school or because my mom makes me.  

Amaba a los animales, no a la tarántula. Me encantan los lugares tropicales el sol, los atardeceres. Me dio todo esto. Me encanta estar en un lugar nuevo. Siento que amplifiqué un poco mi español y no fue forzado como en la escuela o porque mi mamá me obliga."

""It was good. We went to the beach and I really liked that and we went horse back riding I was scared the first time but went the second time. The horse went really fast.  We went to a public pool but I was not tall enough. And another day we went zip lining and that was the funnest thing we did in Costa Rica 

Estuvo bien. Fuimos a la playa y eso me gustó mucho y fuimos a montar a caballo. Me asusté la primera vez pero fui la segunda vez. El caballo iba muy rápido. Fuimos a una piscina pública pero yo no era lo suficientemente alto. Y otro día fuimos a tirolesa y eso fue lo más divertido que hicimos en Costa Rica."

"My overall experience on this trip was really fun,exiting.I loved culture,colors, ,festivities, and history of Costa Rica. I was amazed with all of the wonderful opportunities that opened up for us. Also the extraordinary sights we seen. I enjoyed watching the sunsets every nights, and waking up to the birds."

"I liked how we got to see a lot of birds. I liked how we got to see a lot of animals we didn’t know about. And swim!
